Overview:
This position requires a Senior BA with at least six years of experience in Salesforce Requirements Gathering, Requirements Lifecycle Management, SFDC (Salesforce.com) system design, configurations, administration, and architecture. Knowledge in coding and Vlocity public sector foundation (PSF) framework would be an added advantage. The Consultant will be collaboratively and transparently working with Agile Scrum project team and the client community delivering the highest quality solution in short iterative Sprints following SDLC and governance through detailed but precise business and functional requirements, system requirements, and process documentation.

What you will be doing:

• Clearly understand and document the Business and Functional Requirements, support development of Statements of Work and manage requirements following Requirements Management Lifecycle.
• Working closely with the stakeholders to understand their objectives, vision, business context, and priorities, and the associated assumptions and constraints.
• Identifying sources of project requirements from diverse stakeholders and employing specific techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, and prototypes) to extract and document requirements from these sources.
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Conducting discovery and analysis work on identified business needs and problems.
• Identifying any shortcomings, problems, and limitations of existing solutions and provide solution recommendations.
• Assume rotational Scrum Master role leading the delivery of Sprints and other discussions.
• Map business processes, data flows, and create conceptual diagrams. Conduct process improvements when required.
• Support the development of operational sustainment plans for multiple technology system implementations.
• Assist development team in designing intuitive, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that adhere to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Ensure that any design proposal must be in alignment with overall platform architecture standards and principles.
• Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate access controls, data sharing rules, and security configurations.
• Design and execute data migration tasks.
• Participate in technical design sessions and code reviews, ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the developed solutions.
• Working with QA team, design, develop, execute and debug test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability of developed solutions.
• Perform code migration as per existing release management process, including sandbox management, deployment strategies, and change management.
• Assist developers in building comprehensive documentation such as High-Level Architecture Document (HLAD), TDD and Build Logs including customizations, configurations, and development processes for future reference.

What you must have:

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, architecture, security, and functionalities, including customizations, configuration, and integration capabilities.
• Understanding of Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and security considerations to ensure a robust and maintainable solution.
• Functional understanding of Configuration and Customization to be able to build system specifications:
• Custom code using Salesforce’s programming language, Apex, and creating custom user interfaces using Visualforce.
• Building secure, scalable integrations with Salesforce. Knowledge of API management, integration patterns, identity and access management, and data integration.
• Lightning Web Component (LWC) Framework: building modern and responsive user interfaces within the Salesforce Lightning Experience Framework using JavaScript and Node.js.
• Creating, configuring, and migrating Salesforce Knowledge Articles.
• Using declarative tools such as Omnistudio (Omniscript, Flexcards, Integration Procedures etc.), Flow Builder, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Approval processes.
• Experience working with managed packages.
• Functional understanding of Public Sector Foundation (PSF): Solid understanding and experience working with Public Sector Foundation (Vlocity/OmniStudio) framework including PSF data model, Omniscript, Flexcards, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures and Vlocity PDF document generation.
• Data Management: Experience with data modeling, data migration, and data cleansing techniques within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Testing and Debugging: Ability to write unit tests, perform code reviews, and debug issues effectively to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions.
• Deployment and Release Management: Experience in code migration and understanding of the release management process, including sandbox management, deployment strategies, and change management.
• Documentation: Skill in creating comprehensive documentation for design, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design and implement solutions, troubleshoot and identify root cause that addresses business needs.
• Communication: Effective and respectful communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, understand requirements, and translate technical concepts into clear explanations.

Mandatory Certifications:

• Salesforce Administrator
• Salesforce Platform Developer I
• Salesforce OmniStudio developer or consultant
• Any Salesforce Designer or Architecture certifications

Nice to have Skills & Knowledge:

• Salesforce coding experience.
• Accounting Seed managed package (Accounts Payable, Sub Ledger, General Ledger).
• Experience working with Financials related projects.

Nice to have Certifications:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II and/or Salesforce Advanced Administrator.
• Copado Certification.
