Summary
We are looking for the Senior Business Intelligence professional who possesses solid experience in building Power BI Dashboards, Reports, and Data Warehouse Architecture. The ideal candidate should be able to understand complex reporting requirements and drive the BI solution, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. We prefer someone with BI development experience in supply chain, finance, operations, sales, and marketing. As the BI Technical Developer, you will need to find new and creative ways to extract, load, and transform data from various source systems. Creativity in the design process is a key competency for this role as projects and business requirements will be constantly changing. Support the creation of Power BI reports based on business requirements with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters. Design data architecture structures to support BI initiatives. Optimize dashboards/data warehouse with a focus on reusability, performance, flexibility, and standardization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Viewed as a technical expert and is a critical resource across multiple disciplines.
- Mentors other team members and application developers on technical solutions.
- Responsible for FGF brands ETP (Extract, Transform, Present) strategy and implementation.
- Maintain an active relationship with key business leaders to determine “pain points” and actively develop reporting solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Create visually appealing dashboards based on requirements.
- The BI Developer will create automated reporting in all business functions, driving competitive advantage for FGF brands and facilitating faster and better management decisions.
- The BI Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise and department-level data interfaces and reporting solutions using SAP HANA, SQL/Microsoft Azure suite, and other tools as required.
- Must be able to build and maintain back-end solutions of views/models to be consumed by other BI Developers or business users, as well as customer-facing front-end reporting models/visualizations.
- Assist in operational and customer support related to the use of in-house developed products.
- Make technological adjustments to existing BI systems to improve overall performance.
Required Experience
- 7+ years exposure to different business processes within a manufacturing environment specifically in Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing, and Finance.
- Strong analytical thinking for transforming data into meaningful reports and graphics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
- 7+ years hands-on experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- 7+ years of SQL Development Experience.
- Ability to balance multiple, competing priorities effectively, track documentation and deliverables in an organized manner.
- Sound knowledge of traditional as well as agile software development methodologies.
- Highly effective working in a team, as well as working independently.
- Experience in working with Cloud solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure/Synapse.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or relevant work experience.
- English written/spoken required.
