We are currently hiring a Senior Business Analyst based in our Head Office in Burnaby.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 Remote / 2 On Site). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
As the Senior Business Analyst – Salesforce at BCAA, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within our Salesforce ecosystem. Reporting to the Manager, Salesforce Platforms, you will act as a liaison between business users and the Information Services division, leading the analysis, design, and implementation of critical Salesforce solutions. Your work will focus on understanding and documenting business requirements, translating them into actionable technical solutions, and ensuring their successful execution.

You have excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of building consensus and translating technical concepts into user-friendly language.
What you’ll do:
Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce platforms, such as Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Field Service, providing technical and functional guidance to stakeholders.
Lead business requirements analysis and process design, collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize needs, translating them into actionable deliverables.
Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions align with defined business objectives and are implemented accurately.
Analyze and evaluate existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to optimize system efficiency.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and testing plans, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
Oversee the lifecycle of Salesforce projects, managing and tracking the status of requirements to ensure timely delivery and divisional alignment.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure clear communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor and provide direction to junior Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
Work with external vendors and consultants to ensure solutions meet BCAA’s technical and operational requirements.
Support the testing and implementation phases, ensuring the technical solution integrates seamlessly into existing business processes.
What you bring:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis or a related field, with proven expertise in Salesforce platforms.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Salesforce Cloud platforms such as Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Field Service.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and document business and technical requirements using structured methodologies.
Proficiency with Agile or Kanban approaches to software development.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
PMP or IIBA certification.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, and providing direction to team members.
Familiarity with formal software testing methodologies.

The salary range for this position is $107,129.64 to $133,912.08 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
