Job Description:

HHB requires a Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience as a business analyst, including requirements gathering, testing, and supporting other business analysis activities and working with Project Managers & business-facing partners and stakeholders. The Business Analyst will require:

  1. Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis.
  2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  3. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  4. Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple project deadlines.
  5. Ability to map out complex processes, analyze data and provide the business with recommendations and opportunities.
  6. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement continuous improvements in business processes.
  7. Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new industries & technologies.
  8. A strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work with cross-functional teams at all management levels.
  9. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  10. Government (federal / provincial / municipal / crown corporation) experience required.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide senior business analyst expertise on the overall tolling and traffic management projects and the individual projects collaborating with the Project Managers, stakeholders, and HHB leadership.
  2. Develop an in-depth knowledge of each tolling and traffic management project workstream to aid in current state analysis and subsequent design/development of future state.
  3. Conduct an analysis of tolling and traffic management project business rules and processes and functional requirements with HHB internal stakeholders and prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. Help stakeholders define tolling and traffic management business requirements and workflow, data requirements and flow, key decisions, required approvals and new roles and responsibilities.
  4. Implement requirements management, system specification templates, applications and other tools for tracking business and technical requirements, testing, and change control processes. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, outlining functional and non-functional specifications.
