About the Position:
To support our exciting growth phase in North America, we are now hiring for a key strategic position as Senior Business Advisor. The role will be exposed to a wide range of tasks across different areas connecting finance with technology, operations, production, government relations etc.
Reporting to: Managing Director North America
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the Managing Director North America in key strategic initiatives across financing and government funding, negotiations, government relations and stakeholder management
- Play a key role in negotiating and structuring federal and provincial funding, land acquisition and municipal incentives, securing power for the large-scale facility and negotiating Power Purchase Agreement (PPA),
- Collaborate closely with the finance department to support project financing and equity capital raises, including interactions with leading financial institutions and stakeholders.
- Contribute in key initiatives and improvements across Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, and Finance, acting as a key partner in decision-making and strategy execution.
- Act as the primary contact for various business aspects, including financing, investments, and business relationships.
- Deliver high-impact reports and analysis to management, providing insights that influence business decisions and strategy.
- Address a variety of tasks and strategic projects as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Industrial Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in industrial companies, management consulting, investment banking or similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of structuring financing, capital raises, investor relations is an advantage.
- Experience with large, complex industrial projects, preferably in manufacturing or production industries is an advantage.
- International business experience and a genuine interest in the green transition, battery technology, and sustainability.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

Location: Initially Remote (home office) until an office is available.
