Senior Building Technologist

We are happy to present the role of a Senior Building Technologist located in Vancouver, BC.

Our client that provides a full range of architectural, planning and interior design services is looking for reinforcement in their team. This firm is widely recognized for expertise in retail, residential, mixed-use, office and senior health-care projects. They are dedicated to high quality design, exceptional client service and the incorporation of sustainable design principles in their projects.

Requirements

• More than 8 years of pertinent experience within the Architectural Industry
• Proven expertise in constructing wood frame structures and multifamily residential projects is essential
• Completion of a certified program in Building Technology or Architecture from a reputable institution
• Demonstrated proficiency in leading drawing production using Revit models across various project categories
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, with a strong command of AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Proficient in detailing with a solid grasp of sustainable design principles
• Familiarity with municipal approval procedures
• Thorough understanding of the BC Building Code (Part 3 and Part 9) and ASHRAE 90.1
• Capable of managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective coordination skills with clients, consultants, and Municipal staff
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and adeptness at working both independently and within project teams
