How you'll make a difference:
  • Innovativelydesign and deliverprojectswith a deepcuriosity tounderstandall relevant stakeholders(i.e. tenants, consumers, contractorsand the community)and develop creative responsesto meet their needs.
  • Resolve complex design and technical issues
  • Develop and manage client relationships
  • Deliver projects efficiently and effectively through inspirational leadership
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (design, technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural work
  • Help to implement the goals and objectives set out in the annual business plan through leadership, coaching and mentoring of the architectural team members
Who you are:
  • 15+ years architectural designand leadershipwith a focus in healthcare projects
  • Some experience in leading clinical user groups through design development is an asset
  • Familiar with Ontario Ministry of Health capital project planning approvals
  • Familiar withAFP/P3 procurementmodels is an asset
  • First Professional Architecture degree(Master's Degree in Architectureisa plus)
  • Registered Architect preferred(or eligible)
  • Knowledge of coordination and management of BIM projects and processes
  • REVIT expertise, Navisworks,and LEED AP is an asset
  • Proficiencywith analogue (hand) and electronicforms ofvisual and graphic communicationisessential
  • Substantialdemonstratedexperiencein project planning,design,technical production andcontract administration
  • Strong leadership experience in establishing scope, and directing the work of professional architects and technical staff on multiple projects, in a hybrid (in-studio and virtual) work environment
  • Able to leadlargeprojects(> $100 million construction value)with minimal supervision,including consultant coordination and client management
  • Experience in leadingproject pursuit efforts (RFQ/RFP responses, fee letters)
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS Project,and Adobe Suite
