Position

Retail Distribution at Mackenzie Investments is currently accepting applications for the position of Senior Sales Analyst, Sales Enablement. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Effectiveness, the Senior Sales Analyst will be responsible for executing against the Retail Distribution External and Internal event strategy, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of Retail initiatives. These initiatives include but are not limited to partnering with Product & Marketing to deliver advisor and investor facing content, implementing sales readiness plans related to events and products.

As a valued member of the Retail Distribution team, your core responsibilities will include:

Advisor-Facing Content Development

  • Facilitate the development of advisor facing content for Mackenzie Due Diligences and webinars in partnership with Product, Marketing and Sales Leaders. Formalizing event agendas and required collateral.
  • Leverage a consultative approach to problem solving, ensuring all partners and stakeholders have clear understanding of expectations and objectives for our events.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to establish presenter expectations and adherence to Retail messaging.
  • Develop event briefs for advisor facing events aligned to Mackenzie priorities and the needs of our advisors, acting as the point of contact for all feedback from the sales lead and stakeholders on the creative brief.
  • Implement and execute against project plans.
  • Design and execute activation plans to improve event effectiveness and advisor experience.
  • Onsite content management at advisor facing events.

Internal Event Content Support

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to develop internal team meeting agendas and content that aligns with the needs of the business. This role is accountable for developing agenda proposals, soliciting feedback and gaining consensus on recurring internal team meetings.
  • Manage any logistics related to nationally led internal content.
  • Develop and deploy internal event surveys to seek out means of improving the events.
  • Support the execution of large scale internal events – National Sales Conference and Wholesaler Summit – in collaboration with sales leaders, partners and Sales Enablement & Planning colleagues.

Sales Team Readiness for Internal and Advisor Events

  • Create communications to be shared with the sales teams related to advisor events, including launching event series, expectations, and resources available for sales activation activities for events.
  • Prepare any pre or post event related materials for the sales team.
  • Facilitate discussions on event activations with sales leaders, Product & Marketing partners.

Ongoing Process Improvements and Team Support

  • Create and maintain role procedures and process documents.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the team.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis to ensure processes and timelines are adhered to.
  • Provide 1:1 support for interns joining the Sales Enablement team.

The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Sales or Enablement environment.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
  • Passion for analysis and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Effective management of projects and timelines.
  • Experience in the Canadian investment / financial services industry an asset.
  • Willingness to travel across Canada in support of advisor facing events, as required.
