Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst, Real Estate Investments will support the full investment lifecycle across residential and self-storage real estate strategies, including underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and investor reporting. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role ideal for candidates looking to deepen their investment experience in a high-performing and fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the VP, Real Estate Investments and Acquisitions, the Senior Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support strategic growth across Forum’s real estate platforms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Investment Support & Financial Analysis:
   • Underwrite investment opportunities and assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions and developments.
   • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
   • Support the preparation of investment committee materials, internal memos, and investment briefs.
2. Market Research & Performance Tracking:
   • Conduct market and industry research to support investment decisions.
   • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing assets within the portfolio.
   • Maintain comparable transaction databases and support ongoing portfolio valuation work.
3. Capital Markets & Investor Relations:
   • Assist in preparing materials for joint venture, co-investment, and fundraising initiatives.
   • Contribute to investor presentations, quarterly updates, and capital markets outreach.
   • Collaborate with the asset management team to track key metrics and enhance reporting deliverables.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, development, or capital markets.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Exposure to institutional capital markets and transaction execution is a plus.
• Knowledge of PBSA and/or self-storage sectors considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to work from the office 5 days per week.
