ABOUT THE TEAM

Reporting to the Director, Private Markets Solutions, our successful hire will contribute to the team mandate. As a member of the Private Markets Solutions, you will support business lines and technology teams on solution delivery. You will be involved in PSP’s initiatives as well as playing a key role in the entire solution delivery and all project phases for various evolutions and projects.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, you’ll:

  • Be a key contributor to gather, analyze and influence needs and requirements from business partners and investment teams.

  • Play a frontline role in terms of requirements translation into user stories and/or IT technical specifications.

  • Take ownership of complex problem-analysis assignments, recommend efficient solutions and being an enabler of their implementation.

  • Take a lead role into testing lifecycle (Regression, Integrated and UAT testing).

  • Play a key role in support maintenance, incident resolution, problem solving and continuous improvements.

  • Facilitate and/or contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for new enhancements from planning, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.

  • Guide and propose adjustments relating to departmental processes and procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or in computer science and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in the financial investment industry, more specifically in private markets.

  • Financial certification (i.e CFA, FRM, etc.) is a strong asset.

  • Five (5) + years of experience business and system analysis experience in financial investment applications and solutions.

  • Proficient with SQL tools for data analysis.

  • Working knowledge of traditional database/infrastructure: Windows, Microsoft (MS) SQL Server.

  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa).
