We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Internal Audit to join our Finance team in Montreal. You will support the best practices of our finance division to drive Internal Audit at Lightspeed.

As part of the finance team, you will help the Internal Audit team grow by executing internal audit engagements, performing risk evaluations, drafting audit reports and verifying that management action plans have been effectively implemented. Additionally, you may participate in other ad-hoc compliance projects to better the Internal Audit function.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Reporting to the VP, Internal Audit & SOX Compliance, you will lead the execution of internally sourced audit engagements, including performing associated risk assessments;
  • Drafting the audit engagement report to be presented to upper management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors;
  • Discussing with management on findings, and following up on remediation action plans for any associated findings;
  • Champion the internal audit system (AuditBoard); and
  • Participate in ad-hoc special projects.

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • CPA, CIA, or in process of obtaining either designation
  • 4 to 5 years of experience as an internal or external auditor
  • Knowledge of application of IFRS
  • Experience in situations that require significant attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience with AuditBoard, NetSuite and/or Salesforce
  • Experience in a high growth, technology company
  • Knowledge on SOX requirements
  • Excellent written and spoken French

  • You have a team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently
