Description
The Sr. Advisor, PP Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring supply chain operations meet customer and business needs. This role involves analyzing market trends, historical data, and customer orders to optimize inventory levels and production planning for polypropylene products. The individual would coordinate between the Sales, Operations, Transportation, and feedstock teams to develop an Integrated Business Plan (IBP) that would be used to drive the monthly P&L projections, as well as, the yearly and 5-year P&L forecasts. The Sr. Advisor, PP Demand Planner will report to the Senior Manager, Integrated Business Planning.
This individual must have at 5 – 10 years of experience in commercial activities, preferably in demand and supply planning or S&OP. Experience creating and developing commercial strategies in sales and marketing to drive value creation and deliver strong commercial results. A creative person that can coordinate many projects and tasks amongst a wide array of internal and external people. Proven leadership skills with the ability to interact with all levels and functions within Inter Pipeline’s business. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with various cross functional stakeholders. Highly effective organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to travel a minimum of 5 - 10% travel to various industry events and HPC Site. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and preferably PowerBi as well. Prior experience with demand planning tools like SAP APO, IBP, Aspen, or equivalent. A university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Full time, onsite, Monday-Friday 5 - 10% travel to various industry events and customer visits.
