Under the leadership of the Director, Compensation and HR Policies, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, updating and communicating HR policies applicable to the company's office, distribution center and corporate store employees.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Conduct market analyses on working conditions;
- Keep abreast of trends and legislative changes likely to influence the evolution of human resources policies;
- Participate in setting priorities and timelines for updating human resources policies;
- Lead working committees and present recommendations to the decision-making committee on the company's human resources policies;
- Develop impact analyses, communication and change management plans in collaboration with HR Business Partners and other HR departments (Internal Communications, Learning and Development);
- Manage efficient implementation of new policies in partnership with HR Systems, HR Solutions and Payroll departments;
- Write and update human resources policies and develop policy communication materials;
- Participate in the implementation of human resources policies and business rules surrounding working conditions in our new Dayforce HR system;
- Develop and maintain a network of internal and external partners;
- Advise and support HR Business Partners and other HR team members on the interpretation and application of HR policies.
What you have to offer:
- You have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Business Administration (Human Resources Management option), Communications, or any other relevant discipline.
- You have a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in human resources management, including at least three (3) years' experience in policy development, HR project management, HR communications or change management (in the retail sector is an asset).
- You demonstrate initiative, autonomy and leadership.
- You are able to lead work teams and present recommendations to senior management.
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
