A South Bay real estate company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team due to recent internal promotions. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for a set of properties and bank accounts for a pool of assets. The Senior Accountant will own the accounting for the full scope of their assets and do revenue analytics for the balance sheet and income statement. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant must have prior Senior Accountant level experience, be collaborative, and have a desire to grow and learn.

What do you need for this Accountant role?

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
2. 4+ years of accounting experience
3. Strong in US GAAP
4. CPA (or on your way there!) is great but not necessary
5. Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

1. Prepare journal entries and GL account analysis
2. Month-end close reporting
3. Review financial statements
4. Variance analysis
5. Bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
6. Participate in the annual audit process
7. Review cash receipts, billings, and lease agreements
