Senior Accountant & System Lead, Inventory Accounting (9 Month Contract)

Business Unit: Store Support Centre (SSC)

About the Team

This is a contract role for a Senior Accountant & System Lead on the Inventory Accounting team in Vancouver, BC. The location of this role is at the SSC in Vancouver.

A Day in the Life

  • Collaborates with DC partners to ensure correct reason codes are used for adjustments.
  • Prepares sales return provision, freight accrual, and duty accrual.
  • Leads work over RMS CR’s, incidents, queries, and other reporting.
  • Coaches team members on Excel-based work.
  • Works cross-functionally on projects including discovery, requirements, design, and testing.
  • Identifies core inventory system enhancements and drives efficiency to support the business.
  • Guides and directs team members on RMS and Excel-related issues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience working for or with multi-jurisdictional companies.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including power query.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, and professional judgment, with extensive knowledge of US GAAP and specifically ASC 330.
  • Expertise with Oracle EBS/RMS and Spreadsheet Server.
  • Excellent teamwork & interpersonal skills with demonstrated abilities to motivate, coach, and mentor a team.
  • Passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
