Senior Accountant (Contract)

Our client is on the search for a Senior Accountant to join their team! The successful candidate will demonstrate both strong technical and communication abilities. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be hands-on in the preparation of the month-end reporting packages, and prepare variance analysis with operational leaders. Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Be hands-on in the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages.
• Prepare accounting reconciliations, working papers and other month-end related functions.
• Perform variance analysis on results and discuss with operational leaders.

Your strengths include:

• CPA designation is an asset.
• Strong technical accounting and Excel skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
