Senior Accountant

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial services, and corporate finance. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and will involve collaboration with various departments to support the organization’s financial objectives.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Xero, QuickBooks, and other relevant tools for efficient financial management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial performance and assist in budgeting processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in corporate finance activities to optimize financial resources.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software including PeopleSoft, Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of account analysis, account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
