Senior Accountant Plano, TX –Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)
Compensation Range: $90-110K
One of Vaco’s PE-backed, highly-acquisitive midmarket clients is looking to onboard a Senior Accountant due to continued growth of the company. The CFO is someone that we have worked extensively with - he gives his people a ton of autonomy to get things done and make decisions without micromanagement. They are looking for candidates that have prior experience partnering with private equity groups (fast-paced, high-volume acquisitions, dynamics operations, etc.)
Netsuite experience is required
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Perform daily financial accounting tasks, including accounts payable, revenue transactions, and general ledger maintenance.
Regularly monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist in monthly account reconciliations and prepare related financial reports as needed.
Manage intercompany balances, payments, and reconciliations across entities.
Collect and organize data to support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements or reports.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or address inquiries related to invoices and payments.
Assist in ADP payroll processes, including journal entries, benefits accruals, and invoice payments.
Collaborate with Operations to ensure efficient and accurate accounting processes and compliance.
Handle periodic correspondence with customers, rental platforms, and third parties regarding revenues or miscellaneous accounting inquiries.
Provide support for treasury functions, including corporate card programs via Ramp and personal credit cards.
Develop and document best practices for accounting processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
Looking for:
Bachelors in Accounting or relevant field, CPA or CPA in-process nice-to-have
Exposure to midmarket private equity or family office operations
