Our client is seeking a Senior ABAP Developer with CAR experience to provide post-implementation support.

Part time, initial 1-year contract with possible extension. 100% remote (EST hours).

Responsibilities:

1. Creation of various kinds of function modules for condition-specific usage for interface and DB update.
2. Configuring SAP enhancement framework (Implicit and explicit enhancement).
3. Performance-oriented programming for mass run and batch jobs.
4. Creation of data dictionary objects and reports (ALV).
5. Support CDS views, ABAP on HANA, OData services.
6. Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, Exits, Enhancements, Workflow (RICEFs).
7. Delivering system enhancements and implementation projects, including documenting business requirements, designing solutions, developing functional specifications, configuring, working with developers to build code, supporting testing, and go-live.
8. SAP FIORI Launchpad Configurations, Customizations, Tiles, Catalogs and Groups, deployment of Apps in SAP HANA cloud platform.
9. HANA Upgrade project experience (SPAU, SPDD, Unicode conversion).
10. Candidate is expected to work extensively on SAP CAR; hence Retail experience of at least 2 years is a must.

Must-Haves:

1. 7+ years experience as an ABAP Developer.
2. Experience with SAP CAR, including modules POS Data Transfer & Audit (POS DTA) and POS Data Management (POS DM).
