What does a Supervisor do?

1. Plan, direct, and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site.
2. Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations.
3. Make suggestions to improve and epitomize the security service.
4. Provide operational direction to staff responding to any incidents on site.
5. Conduct patrols of the campus area, to ensure the quality of the operation.
6. Identify potential security and safety issues.
7. Train new site officers and prepare weekly schedule.
8. Updating computer records and preparing different daily and weekly reports.

Qualifications to become a Supervisor:

1. 3 to 5 years of experience in a security supervisory role.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
4. A valid BC security guard license.
5. After-hours on-call availability.
