Security Supervisor

Are you an experienced Security Officer ready to take on a leadership role? JMS Security is looking for a Security Guard Supervisor who is driven, professional, and ready to lead the best security team.

Wage: $21.00 - $23.00/hr

StartDate: January 1, 2025

Location: Nanaimo, BC

Position Requirements:

• Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training (BST)
• Advanced Security Training (preferred but not mandatory)
• Valid OFA Level 1
• Well-versed in Langley’s bylaws, particularly regarding homelessness, drug use, and cycling regulations
• Advanced community engagement training for managing sensitive interactions, especially with homeless individuals
• Strong leadership, observation, and conflict de-escalation skills
• Excellent report writing and customer service abilities
• Professional, disciplined approach with strong communication skills
• Ability to supervise a team, ensuring procedures are followed
