Security Supervisor

Position: Security Supervisor
Location: Sudbury
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 05:00 PM
Duration: Permanent – Full Time
Pay Rate: Hourly Min $20 – Max $25
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

1. Train, schedule, and supervise Site Attendants.
2. Ensure that Attendants have the necessary resources to open sites on time.
3. Develop a system to ensure that sites are always staffed during operating hours.
4. Administer, monitor, and enforce the Waste Management By-law, User Fee By-law, Environmental Compliance Approvals, Spill Emergency & Contingency Plans, and divisional policies.
5. Ensure all attendants are aware of all Applicable Laws, policies, and programs.
6. Prepare various reports, logs, and forms.
7. Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities.
8. Electronically submit daily logs and photos from security and enforcement blitzes within 24 hours.
9. Ensure timely completion of overhead maintenance and repairs.
10. Troubleshoot software/hardware and electrical/electronic issues in collaboration with the City.
11. Set up and maintain computerized equipment.
12. Respond to emergencies and serious occurrences during inspections.
