Security Site Supervisor - High Profile Office Tower

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Security Site Supervisor for a high-profile office tower site in Vancouver. This is a wonderful opportunity for a supervisor who is looking for the next step in their career.

The day-to-day

1. Providing first aid, CPR and AED when required.
2. Ensuring all security/emergency systems are functioning (i.e., alarms, camera, door access), providing daily reports of deficiencies and scheduling maintenance/repairs as needed.
3. Managing access requests and ensuring the Standard Operating Procedures are being adhered to.
4. Monitoring CCTV for all sites and ensuring all cameras are accounted for daily.
5. Ensuring guards are properly trained, qualified, and uniformed.
6. Being an active participant in Occupational Health & Safety meetings.
7. Overseeing operational functions to enforce site policies, enhance team performance, and achieve departmental goals.
8. Scheduling and managing staff to ensure smooth operations.
9. Coordinating training programs and onboarding processes for new employees.
10. Monitoring employee performance to identify areas for improvement and development.
11. Fostering employee engagement to create a positive and productive work environment.

Here's what you need:

1. Valid BC Security Worker License.
2. 2 years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or in a site lead capacity.
3. Occupational First Aid II or III.
4. Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team.
5. 3+ years of experience in the security industry.
6. Strong communicator who leads with empathy and a listening mindset.
7. Strong customer service skills.
8. Post-secondary education in law enforcement or security is an asset.
9. Intermediate computer skills.
10. Full-time availability with flexibility.
