If you’re looking for a role with significant responsibilities, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Security Guard in the Transport Industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of staff, clients, and visitors.

We are seeking a Full-Time Security Guard to work with one of our biggest clients in Winnipeg. In this position, you’ll contribute to the security and well-being of healthcare workers for some of the largest brands in the industry!

We prioritize growth from within – 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to join our operations teams.

What’s in it for you:

• Shift: Sunday, Tuesday - Friday 2300-0700 (must be able to work all the shifts)
• Pay rate: $19.00/hr
• Complete Security Uniform

What Does a Security Guard in the Transport Industry Do?

As a Patrol Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the assigned site. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, monitoring for unusual activity, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence.

• Conduct exterior and interior patrols of the premises.
• Monitor and manage access to the site.
• Act promptly and appropriately in emergency situations.
• Interact with individuals in a friendly and professional manner.
• Be a visible deterrent to vagrancy, vandalism, and loitering by staying vigilant and patrolling key areas regularly.
• Maintain a friendly but professional demeanor at all times.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications to Become a Security Guard in the Transport Industry:

• Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard License
• Provide a clean Drivers Abstract
• Status: Canadian citizen or permanent resident (over 5 years)
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
• High School Education or equivalent
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Excellent Computer Skills for reporting and monitoring
