If you are seeking a job as a Full-time Security Guard on Mobile Patrol, you will be working in a variety of settings including but not limited to condominiums, commercial properties, and malls. Please find details below:

Schedule: 19:00-07:00 OR 21:00-09:00, 2 Week Continental Rotation (84 hours)
Week 1: Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday
Week 2: Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00/hr Probationary (3 months); $19.75/hr Regular (Past Probation)

Training schedule: Three days of training with a supervisor, 12-hour shifts 19:00-07:00

Training rate: $18

What does a Mobile Patrol Security Guard in Hamilton do?

Patrolling in a variety of settings (mobile and foot).

Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws.

Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.

Responding to various types of emergencies.

Grounding at sites when required.

Maintain posted speed limits, driving in a safe manner.

Driving for extended periods of time.

Responsible for company and client property (client keys, company phone, company vehicle and more).

Ability to maintain detailed notes.

Ability to write detailed report notes.

Qualifications to become a Mobile Patrol Security Guard in Hamilton

A valid security guard license and first aid card.

1 year security experience.

A valid driver's license (full G or G-2).

Have a clear criminal background and driving record.

Must be 19 or older for insurance reasons.

Be eligible to work in Canada.
