If you are seeking a job where you have important responsibilities, this one is for you! As a Security Guard in the accommodation sector, you will ensure the safety of kids, families, and clients. We are looking for a Part-Time Security Guard to work at one of our Winnipeg sites.

• Shift: Saturday and Sunday 2200-0600 (must be able to work all the shifts)
• Pay rate: $16.25/hr
• Complete Security Uniform

What does a Security Guard in the Housing Industry do?

1. Conduct patrols of the building.
2. Respond to incidents for tenants if required.
3. Conduct daily reports and incident reports.
4. Deter criminal activity.
5. Facilitate ready access to emergency medical personnel upon arrival by holding exterior doors open, summoning elevator, and providing instructions.
6. Assist site staff and visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment.
7. Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in the Housing Industry

• Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent
