If you are seeking a job where you have important responsibilities, this one is for you! We are looking for a Full-Time Security Guard to work at one of our Commercial sites in Winnipeg, MB. As a security guard in the Commercial setting, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of Clients for some of the biggest brands out there!

What's in it for you?

• Shifts: Monday to Friday 1500-2200 and Saturday (1300-1800)
• Pay: $16.25 per hour
• Complete Security Uniform

What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do?

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
• Assist site staff and visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Record all events in the Logbook
• Respond to incidents for Tenants if required
• Deter criminal activity
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures
• Site patrol, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards.
• Enforce Property regulations and city Bi-Laws on the client's site.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Take actions during emergency situations as per GardaWorld and USB protocols
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Winnipeg?

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Customer service oriented
• Must be able to work Afternoon shifts
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
