Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service. Looking for someone available during the day and evenings and graveyards reliable schedules. Must have black pants and shoes and a valid security license

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including surveillance of CCTV systems.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Provide assistance to visitors and employees while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies to minimize theft or damage.
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems for monitoring activities.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while making quick decisions when necessary.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Security Guard Licence (required)
