Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security & Automation Site Coordinator/Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring quality control, ordering/organizing materials, and maintaining project schedules while adhering to safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
  • Utilize construction management software, including ProCore and Bluebeam, for project tracking and documentation.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating to maintain financial accountability.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and changes.
  • Implement effective problem-solving strategies to address any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Help train other team members.
  • Order and organize material for the job sites and team members.
  • Attend meetings in the office to report progress and issues.

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for effective project execution.
  • Proficiency in Access Control Systems (ICT preferred, Kantec, Chubb, HID, Avigilon, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Video Surveillance Systems (Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Avigilon, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Alarm Systems (DSC preferred, Bosch, Honeywell, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Home Automation is a plus (Control4 preferred, Crestron, Savant, Lutron).
  • Proficiency in Networking is a plus (Unifi, D-Link, Cisco, Luxul, etc.).
  • Experience with construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
  • Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
  • Experience leading multiple construction teams.
  • Experience completing construction projects.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry.
  • Ability to manage time budgeting effectively while ensuring project efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Excellent teaching skills to educate junior team members.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
