Seasonal Field Technician

This position is required to be on-site.

This is a seasonal position and is for a term of 30 days.

What you will do:

• Identifying and pulling seed lines.
• Seed cleaning, seed treatment, and set up of seeding envelopes.
• Accurately weighing and packaging seed.
• Taking accurate and precise agronomic notes.
• Assisting technicians, agronomists, and plant breeders with other duties as required.

What you will bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work continuously in an outdoor setting.
• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborative approach to team members.
• Skilled in working independently when required.
• Small plot field trial experience or agricultural or farm experience is an asset but not required.
