Carefoot Farms Ltd. is currently seeking Seasonal Equipment Operators, with opportunities for full-time seasonal (April-Oct) or casual hours such as evenings/weekends, with an immediate start date.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to sustainable farming practices.

Applicants must:

1. Hold a valid Class 5 drivers licence with a clean driving record; a Class 1A licence is a definite asset.
2. Have experience operating modern equipment such as Air Seeders, Sprayers, Hay Balers, and Combines, with a general working knowledge of equipment.
3. Be mechanically inclined and capable of performing equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
4. Be digitally proficient and capable of using a variety of apps and GPS software.
5. Have the ability to work independently, multitask, and be efficient with their time.
6. Be capable of performing physically demanding tasks as needed and work long days during our Growing Season.
7. Have the ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions; proficiency in English is a critical component of our operations.
8. Possess a team-oriented personality and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops.
2. Operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
3. Diagnose, perform, and document repairs and routine maintenance on all equipment.
4. Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure.
5. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and our team.
