Job description
Job Title: Scrum Master
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Pay range: C$60 - 70/hr
Work Type: Hybrid, on-site twice a week
Schedule: Monday - Friday Core Business Hours
Work Location: Toronto, ON

Summary of Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  1. Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Scrum, Agile theory, methodology, techniques, rules, and practices, estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution and facilitation.
  2. Knowledge of current and emerging agile industry trends and best practices and internal or external business issues to improve team efficiency.
  3. Drive continuous improvement as a change agent, engaging stakeholders to identify business problems and create scalable solutions that adapt the Agile process and drive productivity throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Lead, plan, execute, and evaluate project activities to ensure completion of initiatives, contributing to the team's direction and function, providing advice to the team and delivery leadership.
  5. Support an environment where the team freely escalates challenges and facilitates change through positive reinforcement of successes.
  6. Work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
  7. Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and creativity in their approach to stakeholder engagement and work to support the Agile transformation agenda.

Must Have:
  1. Scrum Master experience.
  2. Payments experience.
  3. Experience working through impediments and how they overcame them.
  4. Agile experience.
  5. Jira & Confluence.

Nice To Have:
  1. Banking experience.
  2. PI Planning experience.
