School Age Program Educator and Child Care Centre Cook

Child Care United of Leeds and Grenville is looking to build our team in Lansdowne. We are currently looking for PERMANENT EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS (RECE) for our Willow Tree Daycare and School Age Program. This position also provides the opportunity for full-time hours with the addition of providing hours as a cook within our full-day program. Individuals will work collaboratively with our team of Educators to provide nurturing care and education to children between the ages of four to twelve years. You will share the responsibility of implementing a balance of individual and group activities that will encourage the physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and sensory development both indoors and outdoors. Key Responsibilities (Include but not limited to):

1. Work collaboratively within the program team, as well as have the ability to work independently when required.
2. Collaboratively plan and implement creative and inclusive activities based on the interests of the children.
3. Maintain safe environments through active supervision, while guiding, demonstrating, and encouraging the children.
4. Document and share special moments and important milestones of the children within your care.
5. Promote and participate in open communication with the team and create trusting, cooperative relationships with families.
6. Create and provide nutritious snacks and lunches while maintaining an organized/safe kitchen environment.

Educator Compensation:

Registered Early Childhood Educators: $25.56 hourly (Inclusive of government funding)
Non-RECE Educators: $23.36 hourly (Inclusive of applicable government funding)

Cook Compensation:

$21.36 per hour
