We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FI-CA Functional Consultant with a specialization in Collections to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) and extensive experience in managing collections processes. This role involves working closely with clients to analyze their business requirements, design and implement SAP solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to collections and receivables management.
  2. Solution Design: Design and configure SAP FI-CA solutions to meet client needs, focusing on collections management, dunning processes, and payment handling.
  3. Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP FI-CA modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  4. Customization: Develop and customize SAP FI-CA functionalities to enhance collections processes and integration into third party vendors.
  5. Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the implemented solutions.
  6. Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the SAP FI-CA system for collections management.
  7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes for future reference and audit purposes.
  8. Support: Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI-CA collections processes, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices to optimize collections management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is an asset.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP FI-CA Functional Consultant, with a focus on collections management.
  3. In-depth knowledge of SAP FI-CA module, including dunning, payment processing, and dispute management.
  4. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and collections processes.
  5. Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  8. SAP certification in FI-CA is a plus.

Desired Additional Skills:

  1. Ability to debug SAP code.
  2. Ability to work with ABAP developers, providing functional expertise and guidance to ensure business requirements are being met.
  3. Ability to create presentation/workshop decks that need to be conveyed and be able to present them at various forums.
  4. Ability to create/update Process Flows for the proposed business processes incorporating both SAP and external systems/processes.
