SAP Analyst - SAP Ariba

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA

Experience: 4 - 7 Years

Mandatory Requirement: Bachelor's degree in IT/Architecture or Science or supply chain with a strong background in SAP application & 4-7 years of knowledge of SAP S4/HANA PP/PPI/MM modules & 3+ years with SAP Ariba.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Work with businesses to troubleshoot any problems with SAP and offer technical solutions and support incoming inquiries from the MFG sites and ExM.
2. Work with IT for help desk ticket solutions with sound knowledge of a SAP super user for Site and ExM planning.
3. Act as an advisor when system application/transaction needs to be analyzed.
4. Support the Process Stewards in the Business Process design and implementation.
5. Build technical database e.g. behind the data standards leading to a better understanding of the parameter selection and what they will drive.
6. Support the Process Steward identifying technical solutions to enable the business process.
7. Support with developing and executing test scripts and providing training as process lead.
8. Support with the documentation related to the Supply Chain business process activities.
9. Support the review and support in adjusting existing SOPs and Data standards and provide technical expertise.
10. Author and review of Training Materials/Work Instructions/Job Aids related to SAP Supply Chain Transactions.
11. Provide SAP training and support to improve SAP maturity of site planner.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of SAP S4/HANA PP/PPI/MM modules.
2. Knowledge of Modules WM, SD and QM would be a plus.
3. Should understand the background jobs and tables where data are pulled from.
4. Good Knowledge of SAP Ariba.
5. Good Knowledge of ALM is a plus.
6. Good Knowledge of Rapid Response (Kinaxis) is a plus.
7. Business expertise in the business area of API/DS manufacturing planning and customer planning is an advantage.
8. Work experience in helping users in solving SAP-related issues.
9. End to End Supply Chain Planning and Execution Process Knowledge (Demand, Supply, Detailed Scheduling, Purchasing, Customer Planning).
10. Deep Understanding of SAP Sales Order, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply and Production Planning and Finance business areas impact on process and system.
11. Knowledgeable of planning and transactional systems.
12. Successfully led and driven process efficiencies and system changes to include documenting business processes, developing and executing test scripts, and providing training as process lead.
13. Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Black or Yellow Belt process expert in the Supply Chain Area.
15. Experienced in working with electronic document management system.
16. Experience in Excel, Visio.
17. Organized with strong attention to detail.
18. Works well in teams and is able to work with a wide variety of people.
19. Self-starter, placing a high value on accountability, customer service, teamwork, and delivering results.
20. Ability to work across multiple time zones (U.S EST – Europe).
21. Ability to translate concepts and strategies into meaningful communications.
