Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $28.85~$32.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 3

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year, Extended Medical Benefits, Dental and Vision Care Benefits

Job Duties:

1. Support early childhood educators in the implementation of programs that enhance children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
2. Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
3. Engage children through activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
4. Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods.
5. Provide written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
6. Assist with housekeeping and cooking responsibilities while maintaining daycare equipment.
7. Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining records.

Job Requirements:

1. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in childcare is required.
2. Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
3. Certificates: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and E.C.E.A. Certificate.
