Department Overview:

M&OM – The Marketing & Offer Management Product Group is responsible for the design, build, maintenance, and scaling of solutions enabling the bank's Marketing Execution roadmap. Our mission is to enhance customer engagement, optimize Marketing solutions and deliver data-driven insights that fuel the growth of the business.

Job Description/Accountabilities:

The M&OM Product Group is seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization Developer to join our Portfolio team, providing Technical Design, Development, Process Improvements, and training/mentoring as necessary for multiple Salesforce programs within M&OM.

The primary accountabilities for this position are:

  • Continuously evolve design processes, including experimentation and learning with emerging methodologies.
  • Produce all required design specifications (as per TD standards) and work with the Application Owner, Development Manager, Solution Architect, and Project Managers to create detailed technical task lists.
  • Conduct program/system research, analysis, detailed design, and problem resolution.
  • Define development specifications and identify system modifications required to meet performance objectives.
  • Ensure design has traceability to business requirements.
  • Advise and provide expert knowledge on the technical feasibility of the proposed deliverables.
  • Identify and address application and data issues that affect application integrity.
  • Work with Developers to ensure that the detailed technical design is fully understood.
  • Assist in providing effort estimates for new projects and initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and improve solutions/processes that maximize system availability and efficiency.
  • Deliver effective solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Ensure defect-free programming by testing and debugging using available tools.
  • Adhere to standard security coding practices.
  • Ensure timely completion of work volumes on a daily basis.
  • Work effectively as a team and support other members of the team.
  • Comply with agile methodology, SDLC, and project management methodology.
  • Consult on the development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS) with Business Analysts.

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud with a focus on Marketing Cloud Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio).
  • Develop solutions to business requirements using Salesforce and Force.com platform capabilities.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce platform and out-of-box features.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to understand, develop, and enhance customized solutions.
  • Familiarity with tools like Bitbucket/Git, Eclipse, RAD, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build personas, storyboards, flowcharts, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Work closely with other designers and engineers to ship extraordinary products.
  • Develop software that is reliable and scalable.
  • Effective time and task management skills.
  • Knowledge of business organization, Bank standards, infrastructure, architecture, and technology.
  • Strong customer orientation and a professional approach.
  • Self-motivated team player with high energy.
  • A positive can-do attitude with openness to promoting knowledge sharing.

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

University/college degree or equivalent work experience.
