About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to help expand our cladding projects across GTA.
This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who excels at developing new client relationships, managing sales cycles, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction materials and projects, architectural products, or exterior building solutions, with the ability to engage contractors, architects, and developers to promote BuildSky’s cladding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify and engage architects, general contractors, developers, and project managers to promote BuildSky’s cladding solutions.
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and events.
- Conduct site visits to establish strong relationships and assess project requirements.
- Qualify potential clients and present tailored solutions based on their project needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
- Respond to inquiries regarding products, services, pricing, and project timelines.
- Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and meet/exceed revenue targets.
Account Management & Customer Support
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Ensure exceptional post-sales service, addressing any client inquiries and concerns.
- Keep CRM updated with client interactions and project tracking.
Industry Research & Collaboration
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support digital lead generation and brand awareness.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in construction, cladding, exterior building materials, or related industries.
- Experience selling to contractors, architects, developers, or project managers is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Understanding of ACM panels, metal siding, and facade materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
Results-Driven & Goal-Oriented
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed sales targets.
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships and strategically grow sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication for engaging with high-level decision-makers.
- Ability to present technical products and close deals with confidence.
Tech-Savvy & Organized
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong presentation, time management and follow-up skills.
Driver’s License & Flexibility
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel locally for site visits, client meetings, and networking events.
