Northwest Aerospace Technologies (“NAT”), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircraft, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue Chip customers.

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain and grow the identified customer base. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Support Sales P&L for the selected account(s) to ensure annual business targets are met.
  2. Develop and manage customer relations, identify and cultivate new customers resulting in new business opportunities.
  3. Interface as the primary customer contact person for the selected accounts.
  4. Implement sales strategies and provide feedback on its implementation to management.
  5. Identify and lead short, medium, and long-term sales opportunities.
  6. Support in the generation of technical and commercial proposals.
  7. Manage and follow-up programs from response to request for quotation until final delivery of integration kits.
  8. Generate Sales reports for internal and external communications.
  9. Actively participate in product development meetings focused on customer satisfaction.
  10. Develop plans to increase current business and develop new business opportunities.
  11. Lead and participate in forecasting and budgeting exercises.
  12. Ensure efficient response to customer inquiries by collaborating closely with other departments.
  13. Organize and conduct presentations of company products and capabilities to customers.
  14. Coordinate with Customer Support to determine customer contractual obligations.
  15. Monitor compliance with customer requirements and proactively address customer inquiries.

Job Requirements

Education: Candidate must have an engineering degree or equivalent technical degree. Alternatively, a B.S./B.A. degree in a related field and a minimum of three to five years sales or marketing experience.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of MRP systems, specifically LN preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Other Skills:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in various forms.
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Thorough knowledge of interiors market and personal contacts.
  • Familiar with financial models and have a basic understanding of accounting.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills: (not required)

  • Engineering degree.

Travel would be 25% the first year, increasing up to 60% annually in the second year.
