Responsibilities

1. Operate cash register
2. Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
3. Provide advice about merchandise
4. Assist in display of merchandise
5. Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
6. Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
7. Maintain sales records for inventory control
8. Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
9. Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
