Sales Administrator - Generator Service Opportunity Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Administrator who is responsible for providing clerical, technical, and administrative assistance to the General Sales Manager and the Generator Sales staff.
Job Duties:
- Answers incoming phone calls for the Sales Department, taking and delivering messages as necessary.
- Acts as divisional "Power-user" for the CRM system (Salesforce), including training new sales staff.
- Utilizing the established Salesforce process, compiles renewal contracts for customers on behalf of the sales staff. This process will often require delivery of the documentation and explanation of the contract to the customer.
- Assists in updating sales-related activities for the salesperson in Salesforce to facilitate easy retrieval of information. Schedule meetings and various activities in Salesforce on behalf of the salesperson.
- Facilitates the implementation of, and manages, new vendor portals on behalf of the sales team, including the completion of HS&E information, by working with the corporate HS&E team.
- Coordinates with the sales and service team to create new accounts for customers in Karmak and Salesforce, including the coordination and completion of the W.W. Williams credit approval process.
- Tracks sales activity and makes regularly scheduled reports to the General Sales Manager, staff, and customers.
- Compiles data and prepares reports and/or presentations as needed using Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Administers special projects and/or other duties as assigned by the General Sales Manager.
- Plans and organizes logistical details for divisional sales meetings and other sales-related meetings and events.
- Attends sales meetings or other sales-related events and takes notes; follows up on items discussed at the sales meeting as necessary.
- Occasionally assists in travel arrangements for the General Sales Manager and staff when required.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
