Tundra Site Services is in search of Safety Advisors. These positions won't last long, apply now!

Tundra is currently accepting applications from experienced Safety Advisors to work at a remote mining operation in Canada's Arctic. This is a contract position for an initial duration of 4 months with the potential for an extension based on the project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide essential support to the client's health and safety team, ensuring the well-being of personnel and compliance with all relevant safety protocols in a challenging remote environment.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety programs and policies.
3. Monitor and enforce safety procedures and regulations in all work areas.
4. Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
5. Provide support and guidance on all safety matters to the workforce.
6. Participate in daily safety meetings and hazard assessments.
7. Assist with emergency response planning and preparedness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid NCSO certification.
2. Minimum 2-3 years experience in an industrial or mining environment, camp experience preferred.
3. Ability to meet all pre-screening requirements including criminal record check, drug test, and medical.
4. Strong verifiable references from previous employers.
