RQ09151 OBR- 1 Sr Business Analyst- MRAS Phases 2 3

This role requires a Senior Business Analyst to support ServiceOntario in its integration with the Multi-Jurisdictional Registry Access Service (MRAS), focusing on Phases 2 and 3, which involve sending and receiving system notifications. The Analyst will engage in requirements gathering, stakeholder consultations, and analysis to develop strategic recommendations and system documentation. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, creating business cases, analyzing data, supporting interoperability through APIs, and aligning project efforts with business priorities using Agile methodology. The Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of scalable, efficient, and optimized business solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Consult with business areas to document requirements for MRAS notification functionalities
2. Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to define data exchange protocols
3. Facilitate structured workshops, design sessions, and working groups
4. Analyze complex business data to develop implementable strategies
5. Create business cases, use cases, process flows, and system design documents
6. Support Agile development efforts by working closely with development and QA teams
7. Build relationships with stakeholders to drive support for business improvement initiatives
8. Develop and monitor performance indicators and risk assessments
9. Provide strategic advice and lead business improvement recommendations

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
2. Experience working in Agile environments within the Software Development Life Cycle
3. Proficient in RESTful and SOAP API integration and data interoperability
4. Skilled in facilitation, strategic analysis, business case development, and stakeholder engagement
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills for consultations and executive presentations
6. Experience with tools such as MS Excel and Power BI for data visualization
7. Familiarity with ITIL, incident management, and project gating processes is preferred
