RQ09027 Technology Architect

The Technology Architect will provide strategic business analysis and technical expertise to support data center network infrastructure initiatives, including the development of procurement documentation, service delivery strategies, and infrastructure modernization. With a deep understanding of Tier-IV data center environments and hybrid cloud models, the architect will lead multiple initiatives such as DCN refresh, F5 hardware/software replacements, and firewall infrastructure upgrades. This role also involves evaluating and optimizing service delivery models, aligning with internal standards and cost frameworks, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful execution of Second Stage RFBs and other procurement activities.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical leadership and strategic advice for Data Centre Network infrastructure
2. Lead the development and execution of Second Stage Request for Bids (RFBs)
3. Prepare supporting materials including financial models, standards documentation, and presentations
4. Align deliverables with internal policies, cost models, and procurement processes
5. Analyze and evaluate DCN service delivery models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud)
6. Oversee ongoing refresh projects including firewall modernization and F5 replacements
7. Contribute to EVPN-VXLAN technology evaluations and firewall policy rationalization

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level data center networks and Tier-IV environments
2. 5+ years developing RFBs, RFDs, RFIs related to data center network infrastructure
3. 7+ years of experience in evaluating DCN service strategies and provider models
4. 8+ years conducting business analysis on DCN service delivery, including hybrid and cloud-based models
5. In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, data center architecture, and procurement directives
