Experience and Skill Set Requirements

User Experience / Product Design (40%)

1. Design experience and expertise in developing and executing strategies that improve overall user interactions with digital, user-centric products and services, resulting in measurable enhancements and positive user feedback.
2. The ability to lead the design of complex digital services from concept to production and the ability to draw on your expertise to develop and maintain a high bar for user experience standards and performance measures.
3. Demonstrated experience creating design deliverables such as mood boards, collaboration boards, empathy maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
4. Demonstrated experience creating deliverables such as design blueprints, information architecture, presentations, and reports.
5. A solid understanding of generative and evaluative user research methods and how user research can be incorporated continuously in the digital product lifecycle.
6. Hands-on experience creating user research plans, recruiting participants, facilitating user research, analyzing findings, and delivering insights.
7. Synthesize research findings into insightful and concise user research documents, such as user journey maps, personas, service blueprints, and affinity maps.
8. Experience researching and applying industry best practices to support your design deliverables.
9. The ability to incorporate web analytics, visitor feedback, performance metrics, and other data to inform design decisions.
10. Practice providing rationale for design decisions in group settings with multiple stakeholders.
11. Experience with Figma and XD Studio is a must.
12. Experience coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an asset.

Communications (20%)

1. Ability to communicate designs in a clear and understandable manner, present recommendations, and provide advice to the stakeholders.
2. Ability to collaborate with technical experts and business subject matter experts to elicit key information relevant to user experience and service design.
3. Strong facilitation skills leading design discussions and negotiations.

Agile Product Development (20%)

1. Experience working in agile product teams.
2. Demonstrated willingness to iterate work output based on feedback.
3. Experience collaborating and sharing design tasks with multiple designers on complex product deliveries.

Design Portfolio (20%)

1. Candidate to include the link to their portfolio of work.

Must Have:
