We fly for the forest industry, fighting fires, moving silviculture crews and supplies. We also fly for the mining and environmental industries as well as tourism. Ridge Rotors operates AStars and BH06s and designs schedules and contracts to fit the pilots and service the customers in the best possible way we can.

Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Rotor Wing Pilot at Ridge Rotors Inc. located in Whitecourt, AB, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Rotor Wing Pilot, you will be responsible for day-to-day aerial operations, conducting pre-flight inspections, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and transporting passengers and cargo. You will also need to maintain flight logs and communicate effectively with ground staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in helicopter operations, Rotor Wing Piloting, and aviation safety
• Ability to conduct pre-flight inspections and adhere to safety protocols
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of flight planning and navigation systems
• Excellent decision-making abilities
• CH Pilot License for Rotorcraft/Helicopter
• Minimum of 800 hours of flight time
• Willingness to work in remote locations
