Roofing Service Technician

What we are looking for:

BC Building Science is looking for a Roofing Service Technician to join our team. The main role involves field review of new construction projects.

What we expect from you:

1. Preference to candidates with Registered Roof Observer (RRO) designation.
2. Working knowledge of a variety of roofing systems and related Building Envelope components and assemblies.
3. Skilled in technical writing and have excellent communication skills – written and oral.
4. Excellent team player.
5. Creative thinker with high attention to detail.

What you are going to do:

1. Conduct thorough field reviews for new construction projects.
2. Monitor the quality of roofing installations to ensure they meet established standards.
3. Ensure that roofs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Stay informed about new roofing materials, technologies, and construction methods.
5. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary range: $50,000 – $65,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
