Description:

Working as part of a project drafting/design team to produce, maintain, and support the overall effort for the development and approval of Shop/Fabrication Drawings for the Roofing Department and Bothwell Accurate.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in Turnover Meetings to discuss and collect information (Scope of Work) for implementation into New Projects.
• Review with Project Team and Site Supervisor Highlighted Scope of Work and list all materials with accompanying attachments. Clarify all information needed to start CAD Drawings and fill in Project Information Sheet with all info above. This Review Meeting will be ongoing as the project moves forward.
• Develop Shop Drawings utilizing all information attained from the Project Information Sheet and from Architectural Drawings.
• Review Shop Drawings with appropriate Project Team and Site Supervisor; if needed, request information through Project Team to Client using RFI sheet (Request for Information).
• Attend to Shop Drawings when returned by Architect. If Reviewed (Approved) or Review As Noted, proceed with Construction Drawings; if Resubmit is noted by Architect, make appropriate changes and resubmit until Approved.
• Provide As Built, Revit (BIM) Drawings & 3D modeling for completed projects, when required by Accounting Department in Coordination with Site Supervisor and Site Foreman.
• Keep open communication with Project Leaders, Site Supervisors, and Site throughout Project Development.
• Continually educate ourselves on available Software, New Product Lines, and Assembly methods of Products. Attend in-house supplier demo meetings.
• Make site visits to help us understand the visual concept of a current project.
• Support Roofing Department as a group and individually through open communication.

Pay:

$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• DCS / DEC (required)

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred)
• Roofing drafting: 2 years (required)
• Revit (BIM): 2 years (required)
• 3D modeling: 2 years (required)
• As Built: 2 years (required)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
