• Location: North York, ON
• Salary: $28.50 hourly / 32 to 44 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
• Starts: As soon as possible

Overview

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Minimum Requirements

Credentials

• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

Experience and Specialization

• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
• Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools, Industrial, commercial and institutional, Residential, Roofing

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Fast-paced environment
• Physically demanding
• Handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg / 100 lbs)
