POSITION FUNCTION
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and removal of road markings and signs, and removal of graffiti.
KEY DUTIES
INDEPENDENCE
Work is assigned and reviewed by supervisor. Problems are referred to supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Effort: Lift and move heavy equipment and materials (often); perform repetitious tasks such as scraping, brushing, and shovelling (frequent).
Mental Effort: Normal.
Visual/Auditory Effort: Normal.
Work Environment: Work outside in all weather conditions (continuous); work in close proximity to moving equipment and traffic (frequent); work from heights (often); exposure to equipment noise (often); work irregular hours (premium item).
KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal Education, Training and Occupational Certification: Grade 10; current and valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence.
Experience: 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER: May be requested to substitute in a more senior position.
